JANE ZHANG releases new TV theme song
    2014-12-17  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Famed singer Jane Zhang recently released her new song “Wuzibei” for the upcoming TV drama “Wu Zetian” just few days after she won two awards at this year’s MIGU Music Award.

The song “Wuzibei” is among the most popular TV and film theme songs that Zhang has sung in the past few years.

Zhang said on her Sina Weibo last week that she was thrilled to work with Fan Bingbing in promoting the new TV drama “Wu Zetian” and to work with the production group. She shared her song with her fans online and thanked them for their support. Zhang’s last theme song “Finally I Meet You” was one of the most-heard songs online last year.

Zhang became famous nationally after winning third place on the popular talent show “Super Girl” on Hunan Satellite TV in 2005. She is famous for singing English songs, particularly those by Mariah Carey, and is sometimes called “the princess of dolphins” by fans.

She has won many domestic and international awards in recent years and has released 12 albums. So far, she has been the only Chinese singer to perform on “Oprah” in the United States and has attended the Grammy Awards several times.
