Zhang Ziyi

    According to Jiemian.com, a document from China’s commerce administration claims that Zhang’s mother, Li Zhuosheng, is among the 112 individual shareholders and 11 investing corporations of Dalian Wanda Commercial Properties. Li reportedly holds 18 million shares of Wanda, amounting to nearly 70 billion yuan (US$1.12 billion).

    Nicholas Tse

    According to figures at the Hong Kong stock exchange, Hong Kong actor Nicholas Tse purchased 350 million shares of Hong Kong-based entertainment company See Corporation Ltd. on Oct. 22, 2014 for HK$0.35 per share, totaling HK$122.5 million. Tse, who holds 23.42 percent of the shares, is reportedly the biggest shareholder of the company.

    Fan Bingbing

    Chinese actress Fan Bingbing holds 1.28 million shares of Talent International Film Co., or nearly 2.15 percent of the company’s shares. Fan is not the biggest shareholder but is among the top 10 shareholders of the company.

    Steven Chow

    Chinese actor and director Steven Chow assumed the role of CEO of Hong Kong-based entertainment company Bingo Group on May 27, 2010. He is also the holder of 35.64 percent of the company’s shares.
