Jennifer Lawrence is reportedly in talks with Sony to join the cast of the upcoming sci-fi drama “Passengers.”

    Variety magazine has reported that the “Hunger Games” star, along with actor Chris Pratt, is in talks with Sony.

    The film, which has been in development for several years, is set on a spacecraft in the future with thousands of passengers making a voyage to a different planet.

    “The Imitation Game” director Morten Tyldum is apparently close to a deal to direct the drama.

    Lawrence will appear in the final installment of “The Hunger Games” at the end of the year and Pratt will feature in the latest “JurassicPark” film “Jurassic World.”(SD-Agencies)
