    Jennifer Lawrence is done with‘X-Men’

    Get ready to X Jennifer Lawrence out of the “X-Men” franchise*.

    The actress told MTV that it’s a wrap* for her after “X-Men: Apocalypse,” which is due in theaters in 2016.

    Lawrence portrayed the young version of the shape-shifting blue mutant* Mystique in the prequel “X-Men: First Class” in 2011 and reprised the role in 2014’s “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”

    

    Wu Jing’s ‘Wolf Warrior’ heads to U.S.

    Well Go USA has bought the rights to Easternlight Films’ 3-D war epic “Special Force: Wolf Warrior” directed by and starring Wu Jing.

    Wu stars as a Chinese Special Forces soldier who is expelled* from the army and joins a mysterious troupe known as the Wolf Warriors.

    English martial artist Scott Adkins and Chinese actress Yu Nan also star in the film.

    

    TVB spends 15m to cover cleavage

    The cleavage* controversy is not over.

    Hong Kong’s TVB channel has spent 15 million yuan (US$2.5 million) to use computer technology to cover cleavage scenes in a historical drama that is to be aired at prime time* in April, the channel announced this week.

    The drama, “The Empress of China” also known as “The Saga of Wu Zetian,” dramatizes the life of China’s only female emperor, Wu Zetian (624-705), who ruled during the Tang Dynasty (618-907).

    

    Han Hong wins ‘I Am a Singer’

    Chinese singer Han Hong won the finals of the third season of “I Am a Singer” in Changsha, Hunan Province, on March 27. She is the first woman to claim the title so far. Sun Nan, a friend of Han, backed out of the finals, wishing the others good luck. “I Am a Singer” is a Chinese version of the Korean reality show by the same name.

    Previous winners were soft rock duo Yu Quan and Chinese folk and pop singer-songwriter Han Lei.
