Arnold Schwarzenegger will be attending the Beijing International Film Festival this week. The Austrian-born actor and former California governor will address the event, which is to be held from tomorrow to April 23. Known for his title role in “The Terminator” movies, Schwarzenegger stars in two films due for release later this year. The festival has attracted 930 movies from 90 countries and regions to compete for its Tiantan Awards. The 10 Tiantan Awards include best feature film, best director, best actress and best music. French director Luc Besson will chair the awards jury, which also includes Peter Chan and Zhou Xun. Jean-Jacques Annaud who directed the recent China-France hit “Wolf Totem” is also expected to attend the festival.(SD-Agencies) |
