A dress worn by actress Vivien Leigh as she played Scarlett O’Hara in the cinema classic “Gone With the Wind” has fetched US$137,000 at an auction.

    The price was a great deal for the collector who bought the outfit decades ago for US$20 as it was on the verge of* being tossed out.

    The outfit, a gray two-piece ensemble, was sold at an auction in Beverly Hills, the United States.

    It was the most sought after item among the roughly 150 pieces of “Gone With the Wind” memorabilia* on sale. (SD-Agencies)
