‘Furious 7’ wins Golden Trailer Awards A trailer for “Fast and Furious 7” titled “Family” won the best of show prize for Universal Pictures and AV Squad at the 16th annual Golden Trailer Awards, which were held on May 6 at the Saban Theater in Los Angeles. It also claimed the top honors in the best action category. Awards were announced in 78 different categories, with 20 of them handed out at the ceremony. Winners of screenwriting competition announced The winners of the Second Young People’s Screenwriting Competition, one of China’s most prestigious* contests for college students, have been announced in Beijing. Ten original screenplays* out of 50 nominations won the awards at a ceremony held at Beijing Normal University. Around 517 screenplays entered the annual contest, which was launched in January this year. Fan Bingbing tops China Celebrity List Chinese actress Fan Bingbing is back in the top spot on the new Forbes China Celebrity List unveiled in the current issue of Forbes China, the licensed Chinese-language edition of Forbes. Fan ranks at No. 1 for the third year. Rounding out the top five on the 2015 Forbes China Celebrity List are Taiwanese singer and actor Jay Chou, Hong Kong singer and actor Nicholas Tse, Hong Kong actor Jackie Chan, and Chinese mainland actor Huang Xiaoming. Teresa Teng remembered Chinese songstress Faye Wong is completing a song that was left unfinished by late Taiwanese singer Teresa Teng. The singer recorded the song at a studio on May 8, which marked the 20th anniversary of Teng’s death. The song, titled “Qing Ping Diao” (translated as “Pure and Peaceful Tune”), was adapted from a famous poem written by Chinese poet Li Bai.
