CHILDREN’S DAY, which is celebrated universally on various dates throughout the year, falls on June 1 in China.

    Children under 14 in Shenzhen enjoy a day off from school and many choose to attend events held around the city. The holiday has also become a big day for shopping, as many merchants offer promotions and discounts on popular children’s items.
