TY SIMPKINS TALKS ABOUT ‘JURASSIC WORLD’
    2015-06-17  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

    泰·辛普金斯畅谈《侏罗纪世界》

Actor Ty Simpkins, 14, who was the “kid” alongside Robert Downey Jr. in “Iron Man 3,” has loved dinosaurs since age 3 and plays Gray, one of two brothers who explore the amazing dinosaur theme park in “Jurassic World.” The young actor did stunts, rode in a working gyrosphere and did some brotherly bonding with co-star Nick Robinson.

While on the press tour for “Jurassic World,” Simpkins talked about his role, roles he’d like to play, and some life advice he got from cool co-star Chris Pratt.

“I met Nick for the first time at an audition, when we were going to do a chemistry read,” Simpkins recalled. “We talked for about 20 minutes before we had to go in.

“Me and Nick were in Hawaii. We only worked for eight days for the film, so we got to go surfing, boogie boarding, swimming, eating,” he said.

Talking about the film, he said if he could create a dinosaur or an attraction for Jurassic World, he would probably add some kind of underground place with one-way glass where people could see a carnivore from below.

Simpkins was born in New York City. In the film “Pride and Glory and Revolutionary Road,” he appears with his real-life sister Ryan Simpkins. His other major films include James Wan’s horror flicks “Insidious” and “Insidious: Chapter 2.”(SD-Agencie)
