    Ben Affleck to divorce

Hollywood couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner say they have made “the difficult decision to divorce.”

In a statement they said, “We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children.”

    Trump sues Univision

U.S. presidential candidate and real estate mogul* Donald Trump filed a US$500 million lawsuit on July 2 against Univision over the Spanish-language TV network’s decision to end its contract to broadcast the “Miss USA” pageant*, which is co-owned by Trump.

Univision said last week it would not air the July 12 pageant because of what it called insulting remarks about Mexican immigrants made by Trump when he announced he was running for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination.

The 19-page lawsuit accuses Univision of a “thinly veiled* attempt” to stifle* Trump’s freedom of speech in order to boost Democratic frontrunner Hilary Clinton.

Jane Zhang goes public with Feng ke

Mandpop* superstar Jane Zhang made public her 12-year relationship as she staged a concert in Changsha on Saturday.

“From the year I was 18, a man has kept my company and protected me. Now, 12 years have passed, and I don’t want to live alone any longer. I have thought it over. If you want to marry me, please come onstage,” Zhang made the confession.

The man who appeared onstage was confirmed to be the CEO of Show City Times Feng Ke.

    ‘Sesame Street’ favorite retiring

It’s the end of an era for “Sesame Street.” Sonia Manzano — Maria for more than four decades — is retiring from the beloved children’s program.

News of Manzano’s departure arrived in the form of a tweet by the American Library Association, after she appeared at their annual conference earlier this week.

“Maybe I’ll go back for the 50th anniversary and make a guest appearance!” she said in response to one fan.(SD-Agencies)
