The new season of the CW’s “The Flash” is on its way and with it, a new suit for Grant Gustin’s title character. On Monday, the brand-new suit for Barry Allen (The Flash) was revealed and the big difference in the season 2 suit is the emblem. The Flash’s lightning bolt communicator now sits atop a white circle (last season it was on red). A hint at what The Flash’s future suit would look like was actually revealed in the show’s season 1 finale. When Barry went back in time to save his mom, he saw his future self and that version of his suit had the white behind the bolt. “We’re gonna kind of start to see pieces of what happened because of the singularity and how it affected everybody,” Gustin said. “It’s not a direct pickup and… [The Flash] is getting a lot of acclaim as a hero and a lot of attention and it’s not sitting well with Barry because, as we all know, Eddie was kind of the hero and the guy that stopped Wells in the finale. And for that, and for some other reasons, Barry is having a hard time of accepting the role of hero, yet again, and that will kind of be his journey for season 2, is finding that confidence again, maturing, he’s got a new mentor that’s helping him discover some new powers. “But yeah, it’s going to be a good season,” he added.
