    2015-11-12  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

A calligraphy work in seal script (篆书) by Che Dilin, the chief secretary of a Shenzhen independent art group Shennandao.

The calligraphy work is one of the 40 calligraphy works and paintings by 40 artists from Rugao, Jiangsu Province, and Shenzhen on display at Shenzhen Circle Art Gallery. The exhibition ends today.

The exhibition, a joint effort by art groups from Rugao and Shenzhen, aims to promote exchanges in art between the two cities. Shenzhen is the first stop of a national tour that will cover Beijing, Nanjing and Rugao.

Rugao is a city with a rich cultural legacy. It is the hometown of famous Ming poet Mao Xiang and Ming painter Li Yu.By courtesy of Shennandao
