    However, at the same time, he heard some frightening sounds beside him, which made him freeze. At that terrible time, he only felt afraid and regretful. Later on, some people passed him. Then the author felt relaxed.

    The journey of the author continued. When he climbed back down from a rock, he spotted a couple approaching. Even though he was a long distance from them, the author noticed that the couple was panicking — the man pulled the woman to the other side of him. As they got closer, the author saw that the man wore a plaid shirt and black horn-rimmed glasses while the woman was blond. When the author opened his mouth and greeted them, the woman was scared to death and started shrieking uncontrollably. In the end, they hurried away, leaving the author alone. After this interesting experience, the author began to feel emboldened because he found that he was the most frightening thing in the park.

    Finally, the author reached the northern end of the park where he met two gangs of kids. Those kids zoomed across the street wildly. This sight made the author feel scared again because he involuntarily recalled a horrible incident that happened there. He picked up his pace to get away.

    It was an exciting adventure for the author. Perhaps, when he woke up the next morning, he remembered the people who made his adventure more interesting.
