    Dreamers wanted

    RESIDENTS who want to pursue their art dreams can register for the “Art Dream Project” in Futian District. The district will provide a stage for residents to showcase their talents in singing, dancing, performing, fashion, traditional opera, calligraphy and other cultural sectors.

    The application deadline was Dec. 3, and the first round of selections will be held Dec. 7 to 11. Information on the event can be found on the Futian District Cultural and Sports Center Wechat.

    Street artist selection

    FUTIAN District will select the Top 10 Street Artists in the district. All licensed street artists in the district can apply for the selection. Detailed information has not been released yet.

    To promote the event, the district recently launched a street art activity at the Civic Center, showcasing various art types such as cosplay, graffiti, a flash mob, 3-D paintings and fan painting.

    Oil painting exhibition

    MORE than 30 oil paintings by 12 well-known artists were exhibited at the Futian Cultural Hall from Nov. 20 to 30. Among them, 10 were local Guangdong painters, and their works were mainly of Guangdong’s beautiful scenery.(Stephy Wong)
