MARRIOTT Hotels, the iconic flagship brand of Marriott International Inc., expanded its portfolio in China with the opening of its 340-room Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Nanshan in Shenzhen. Under a long-term management agreement with its owner Centralcon, the hotel is situated on the top floors of SCC Building, an iconic landmark that offers an exceptional 360-degree view of the spectacular sea and city landscape.

Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Nanshan is located in the city’s renowned high-tech development hub. The hotel is a 40-minute drive to Shenzhen International Airport and just a 30-minute ride to Shenzhen North Railway Station. It also has quick access to Shekou Ferry Terminal for easy commute to Macao, Zhuhai and Hong Kong. The new hotel is in close proximity to Shenzhen High-tech Industrial Park and Shenzhen Bay Checkpoint, neighboring Coastal CityPlaza, Tiley Central Plaza, Shenzhen Poly Theater as well as other entertainment outlets.

“Marriott Hotels’ popularity has been soaring in China. We are excited to offer this innovative space and experience to Shenzhen visitors and help them on their journey to expand their minds through travel,” said Henry Lee, chief operations officer of Marriott International, Greater China.

“We are honored to bring this landmark hotel to Shenzhen. Our food and beverage offerings, guestroom design, convention and meeting facilities, and most importantly, our excellent service culture are second to none in Nanshan,” said Adam Cheng, general manager of Shenzhen Marriott Hotel Nanshan.

The 340 luxurious guestrooms of the hotel are located on the 45th to 60th floor of the 300-meter SCC Building that was designed by Adrian Smith, the designer of the well-known Dubai Tower. It is the first green building with LEED Gold Certification in the Houhai business district in Shenzhen.

Ranging from 40 to 70 square meters, all guestrooms feature breathtaking views of Shenzhen Bay and the Hong Kong border. Each guestroom is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and amenities.
