Zhang Qian zhqcindy@163.com A FAIR for Chinese college graduates will take place in Hall 2 of the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center on Saturday, April 16. The fair is being organized by the Shenzhen Labor and Job Service Center. The fair will be divided into five different zones, including IT, finance and insurance, manufacturing, logistics, and business. More than 200 employers will participate in the fair. Companies include Emerson, Hans Laser, BGI and Foresea Life Insurance. Nearly 8,000 jobs are available. The organizer said 90 percent of the jobs fit college graduates who recently completed their studies. The fair will also provide free printing services, resume help, job consulting and career aptitude tests. It is estimated that more than 20,000 college students will come to the fair Saturday. Statistics show that around 7.65 million students graduated from higher learning institutions this year. Finding proper jobs after graduation has come into focus in recent years. Enterprises in Shenzhen also need qualified employees. The job fair can cater to 200 employers. More than 550 enterprises attempted to register as of April 1.
