FUTIAN District recently released a short film about family and love. The film, called “Dad Is Coming Home,” is about a dad who works hard in Shenzhen. He works late every night and has little time for his child. One day, he finds a photo book put together by the child. He feels guilty about missing out on his child’s life and decides to make up for it. The eight-minute film was shot in Futian District and hopes to tell a story to inspire audiences. According to the district government, Futian hosts about 5,000 cultural events every year, including public training, art salons and low-price concerts and festivals.
