
A view of the world’s first functional 3-D-printed office building in Dubai in this photo released yesterday. It was built by the Yingchuang Construction Technique (Shanghai) Co. The one-story prototype building, with a floor space of about 250 square meters, was created using a special cement mixture that was printed layer by layer, taking a total of 17 days to be fully constructed. The specialized printer used to create the building measures 6 meters tall, 36 meters long, and 12 meters wide, making it one of the largest 3-D printers in the world.
