电子狗
diànzǐgǒu
Meaning: Literally translated as the "electronic dog," this term refers to a gadget installed by motorists in their vehicles to detect police radars and cameras. The device is designed to help drivers evade traffic monitoring. Popular several years ago, such gadgets are rarely used nowadays because many navigation apps have incorporated the function. Meanwhile, many Chinese drivers have developed better habits on the road and willingly obey traffic regulations.
