Chapterhouse Theater to present ‘The Jungle Book’
    2016-May-31  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

Chapterhouse Theater Company from Britain will present English drama “The Jungle Book” at Children’s Palace in August.

In the magical Indian jungle, a new arrival changes the animal kingdom forever. In this beautiful adaptation by award-winning writer Laura Turner, all your favorite animal characters are brought to life to create an enchanting and fun-filled musical for children of all ages. Join Mowgli on his wonderful adventures with the lovable and wise Baloo the Bear, the powerful panther Bagheera, not to mention mischievous monkeys and the terrifying tiger Shere Khan!

In the winter of 1999 Chapterhouse Theater Company took its first steps towards becoming one of a number of touring theater companies specializing in performing under the stars and at some of the most beautiful gardens Britain had to offer. The very first performance was at Herstmonceux Castle where the company performed “Romeo and Juliet” by the moat of the beautiful Tudor building. It was the start of an incredible 17 years which has seen the company go from strength to strength changing and adapting to new audiences and challenges every year but holding the same principles of producing warm, traditional and hopefully magical theater in magical surroundings.
