Dutch artist Imme van der Haak, Hong Kong artist Movana Chan and FFIXED Studios’ Kain Picken and Fiona Lau will give a talk on fashion design. The event is English with Chinese interpretation.
It is a side event of the onging “The Future of Fashion Is Now” exhibition in OCT Art and Design Gallery.

Van der Haak was born and raised in Arnhem, the Netherlands. She went on to graduate in 2010 from Artez, the academy of arts in the same city. Following this, she moved to London to earn a master’s in product design at London’s reputable Royal College of Art where she graduated in 2012.
Her work is playful, yet subtle. She constantly strives to question and challenge our perception of what is “normal,” focusing on the everyday, which we might take for granted.
