    Hackathon

    Computer programers and those involved in software development and hardware development, including gra-phic designers and interface designers, are invited to join this two-day hackathon. Meals and drinks are provided. There’s also a party in the late night of June 4.

    Tickets: 42 yuan for competitors, 10.24 yuan for audience

    Summer-themed paintings

    More than 30 summer-themed paintings created by Chinese artists are on display at Shenzhen Art Museum until June 19. The exhibits are selected from 4,000 items collected by the museum over the past 40 years. Meanwhile, another exhibition of paintings by local children aged between 4 and 11 are also on display at the museum until June 5.

    Graduation work

    Design works created by graduates of Shenzhen Polytechnic are on display.

    Two exhibitions

    Glass pieces on loan from the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague and cultural relics on loan from six museums in Sichuan Province are on display. The glass show offers a thoughtful, expressive, and utterly breathtaking exploration of glassmaking in Europe from the 4th century B.C. to the present day.

    Dates: Until June 16 (glass pieces), June 24 (Han Dynasty relics)
