Child star’s new film

    A TRAILER was released for “Girl of the Big House,” which stars 7-year-old Angela Wang Shiling, daughter of television host Li Xiang and director Wang Yuelun.

    In this comedy scheduled for release July 29 — obviously targeting young audiences during summer vacation — Wang plays a girl from a rich family who leads her friends to fight a human-trafficking gang. Produced by Wong Jing, the film also stars Francis Ng and Miriam Yeung.

    Now you see Jay

    TAIWAN pop star Jay Chou will sing the theme song for “Now You See Me 2” besides playing a magician named Li in the film.

    Chou has created a song of the same title and directed its MV, now available online. The song has Chinese lyrics.

    The film, also starring Daniel Radcliffe, Morgan Freeman, Lizzy Caplan, is scheduled to hit Chinese theaters June 24.

    Salling pleads not guilty

    MARK SALLING, who starred on the musical dramedy “Glee,” pleaded not guilty to federal pornography charges Friday and had his Internet usage and travel severely restricted.
