Cute Cat Carnival
About 100 rare cats are on display at the monthlong Cute Cat Carnival in Shenzhen. Visitors are welcome to get their faces painted to look like a cat, take selfies with the cats and make potted plants. A homeless cat adoption activity will also be held at the carnival. Visitors are not allowed to bring pets and long umbrellas to the events. No flash photography allowed.

Two exhibitions
Glass pieces on loan from the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague and cultural relics on loan from six museums in Sichuan Province are on display at the Shenzhen Museum. The glass show offers a thoughtful, expressive, and utterly breathtaking exploration of glassmaking in Europe from the 4th century B.C. to the present day. The Han Dynasty relics feature a spectacular selection of tomb tiles, bronzeware and pottery figurines.
