BRITISH pop superstar ZAYN, a.k.a. former One Direction member Zayn Malik, was a no-show at tonight’s Capital Summertime Ball, a one-day music festival held at London’s Wembley Stadium.
In a message posted to Twitter, the “Mind of Mine” singer said that he was forced to cancel his performance after suffering from severe anxiety.
“Unfortunately my anxiety that has haunted me throughout the last few months around live performances has gotten the better of me,” Malik’s statement reads. “With the magnitude of the event, I have suffered the worst anxiety of my career.” Wembley seats 90,000 people, and Summertime Ball tickets were sold out.
