An event focused on solving a Chinese Nine-Linked-Ring Puzzle will be held Saturday at the Shenzhen Library. Attendees are welcome to bring their own Chinese Nine-Linked-Ring Puzzles. Entry is free.
The puzzle features a loop which must be disentangled from a sequence of rings on interlinked pillars. The loop can be either string or a rigid structure.
It is thought to have been invented originally in China in the 2nd or 3rd century. It is an interesting, challenging and time-consuming Chinese game.
