Bini the bunny is a master painter
    2016-June-21  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

MONET, Picasso, Van Gogh, da Vinci and now, Bini the Bunny.

He may look like your average pet rabbit, but the small ball of fluffy cuteness known as Bini is quickly joining the ranks of the world’s most revolutionary artists.

The 4-year-old Holland Lop rabbit first entered the world of animal art in 2014, showcasing his dynamic ability to beautifully blend colors to millions of online viewers.

Given a blank canvas to work with, Bini grabs a brush with his mouth and begins adding red, blue and yellow paint to create an abstract work.

So sought-after is the bunny’s work that he has an online store where he sells his paintings and more than 50,000 Facebook followers.

However, painting is not the only talent the small creature has to offer, with owner Shai Asor also teaching Bini how to be a hairdresser, play basketball and dress up as superman.

Asor, who bought Bini in 2012 and moved to Los Angeles in April, said the rabbit had always been special.

“The things he does have never been done by other bunnies before,” he said. “We had an accident with some markers and he was a very curious bunny to play with them, so I thought maybe I can teach him to paint?

“Instead of being mad about the mess I just went with it and said ‘let’s see what he can do’ and now we sell his paintings in our online store.”

Asor also taught his young apprentice how to play basketball and pool, after he caught him pushing a ball around their apartment.

Bini’s videos have had more than 5 million views on Facebook since his page was created in 2014.

But Asor said that Bini would continue to keep his growing fan base entertained, with a number of amazing new tricks in the pipeline.

“The minute I give him something and he holds it, he knows what to do,” he said.

“I decided to give him the ball and show him how to put it in a box, this is how he became a basketball player.” (SD-Agencies)
