
accident site after a passenger train derailed in eastern Taiwan yesterday afternoon. Two female tourists from the mainland sustained slight injuries in the accident, according to the railway authority. The last three cars of Train 307, which was bound for Hualien County from Kaohsiung city, derailed at 2:49 p.m. in Hualien. Two of the three cars overturned. The two tourists, aged 19 and 45, were taken to a local hospital for treatment. There were around 200 passengers on board at the time of the accident.Xinhua
