A SHENZHEN woman was detained after calling the police and falsely claiming that she killed her boyfriend, the Southern Metropolis Daily reported yesterday.
The 20-year-old woman, surnamed Jia, called the police at around 1 a.m. Monday, saying that she killed her boyfriend in a rented apartment and she wanted to turn herself in, but she didn’t tell the police her location. Calls to her phone weren’t answered after she hung up.
The police formed a task force to track down Jia, and they found her with her boyfriend in a rented apartment in Gongming Subdistrict, Guangming New Area at around 1 p.m. the same day.
