    Steel capacity cut

    YUNNAN Province says it plans to cut its crude steel production capacity by more than 4.53 million tons by 2018, according to a statement from the provincial government published Tuesday.

    The province also said that it would limit crude steel production capacity to a maximum of 25 million tons by 2018. Details of the province’s current production capacity were not provided.

    Anti-dumping duties

    CHINA’S Ministry of Commerce yesterday raised anti-dumping duties on imported photographic paper from two firms.

    Effective yesterday, FUJIFILM Europe will be levied a duty of 23.5 percent, up from 17.5 percent set in 2012. FUJIFILM U.S.A. will be imposed a duty of 23.6 percent, compared with 16.2 percent over the past four years.
