LAS VEGAS alternative rock band Imagine Dragons and electropop singer-songwriter Halsey are the Sunday headliners for the 2016 Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix, race promoter Singapore GP announced on Friday.

    The race will be held from Sept. 16 to 18 this year.

    The acts join Australian popstar Kylie Minogue, British rock band Queen, “American Idol” alumni Adam Lambert, a cappella group Pentatonix, British indie rock band Bastille and ‘70s disco icon KC and the Sunshine Band, who were previously announced to be performing at the race.

    Halsey, who is making her debut in Singapore, will perform at the Padang Stage on Sept. 18 before the race, while Imagine Dragons — back in Singapore for the second time — will perform at the same stage after the last track activity.(SD-Agencies)
