TWENTY-FIVE people were taken to hospitals and several others were arrested following Kenny Chesney’s concert at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, the Associated Press reported.
According to city public safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler, 57 ambulances were requested around 9 p.m. to transport the dozens of individuals to hospitals for intoxication or intoxication-related injuries.
Police reportedly made at least five arrests inside the stadium — on charges including public intoxication, trespassing, ticket robbery and assault — and allegedly cited 36 others for underage drinking a few hours before the country singer took the stage as part of his Spread the Love tour.
Following the incident, Chesney’s fanbase, known as No Shoes Nation, took to Twitter to express their opinions, which were mostly humorous.
