Zhang Qian zhqcindy@163.com Talented young soccer players can now apply for a free soccer training trial based on the internationally recognized Coerver training system in August. An American soccer coach, Hassan Bo, also a former soccer player for the Egyptian national team, said his Shenzhen-based soccer club started the three-month project, called Wolves Individual Soccer Training, in June and the places for July were fully booked. “The kids need to be talented with basic soccer skills and we will then get them to improve,” said Bo. The club will select young players with potential at a preliminary session. According to Bo, each player selected for the free trial will have his or her own record of individual training. The record shows the players’ individual practice focus, position as well as evaluations on how they performed during the training session. The training project is supported by Coerver Beijing. The Coerver coaching method is suited for all ages, but especially for players aged 5-16 years old. A total of 30 places are available for talented young soccer players in the August session. Two training sessions will be organized each week for one month. Potential candidates can apply for places via WeChat account: wolvesfc. |
