Join local charity organization A Heart for China to spend time with children at the Huayang Special School (华阳特殊儿童康复中心) this Sunday in Longhua New Area.

    Volunteers are welcome to bring gifts, cookies and small boxes of milk and cheer up the special children at the school where most of the kids are physically or intellectually handicapped. Volunteers are encouraged to sing and dance or play with the children who must stay in bed or at the school for most of their lives.

    In the past year, the volunteers have visited the children 36 times.

    Meet at Baishilong Metro Station (白石龙地铁站) Exit C, at 1:30 p.m. July 10 to take a bus to the school. The bus fare is 30 yuan, including water.
