THE 2nd Public Karaoke event was launched in Futian District on June 1, marking Children’s Day.

    This year’s event featured activities such as 10-yuan afternoon karaoke, a karaoke competition, a karaoke competition for seniors, free karaoke training and coupons for karaoke venues.

    The event will be held every afternoon from Monday to Friday. Residents can join the event for free, practicing their singing skills and receiving training from experts.

    The first Public Karaoke event was held from October 2015 to April 2016. More than 140,000 residents in the city participated in the event, making the event one of the Top 10 Most Popular Cultural Events in Futian District in 2015. (Wang Yuanyuan)
