THE head of the security team of a property management in a Nanshan District housing estate was sentenced to four months in detention with eight-month suspension for unlawfully intruding in a residence, according to a verdict handed down by Nanshan People’s Court recently.
According to the prosecutors, security guard manager Fu Wengao felt the property management of Keyuan Garden housing estate was wronged after seeing an online posting. The post accused the property management of taking revenge on Chen Jianping, deputy head of the owners’ committee, by spilling paint over Chen’s door and gluing his door lock Oct. 29, 2015.
According to Chen, the committee had decided to replace the property management. Chen said he had refused to negotiate with the property management company concerning the replacement before the incident happened.
On the night of Oct. 30, Fu headed six security guards and intruded into Chen’s home, questioning and demanding him to delete the posting.
The security guards refused to leave and scuffled with Chen, who later called the police.
Police persuaded employees of the property management to leave and took Chen to the police station for investigation.
On Nov. 14, Fu surrendered and was detained. (Han Ximin)
