    English-language films, “In the Family” (7:30 p.m., July 15, B10 Live), “American Revolutionary: The Evolution of Grace Lee Boggs” (7:30 p.m., July 16, A3+), “Advantageous” (7:30 p.m., July 17, A3+), will be shown free of admission at OCT-LOFT. The movies center on Chinese-Americans.

    Ancient porcelain

    Relics provided by Guangdong Museum, Hong Kong Museum of Art and Macao Museum are on display. The 180 exhibits showcase ancient pottery and porcelain and made-for-export porcelain with designs commissioned by European buyers.

    Paintings by Spanish artists

    Five artists from Spain are exhibiting water color and ink paintings at the Shenzhen Fine Art Institute. They are Ana Laza, Javier Marin, Lily Chu, Marco Antonio Cobo and Muguel Angel Sanchez .

    “The Devil Wears Prada” (2006) will be shown. This screen adaptation stars Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly, a powerful fashion magazine editor, and Anne Hathaway as Andrea Sachs, a college graduate who lands a job as Priestly’s co-assistant.

    ‘Wasted Time’

    Teatro Plus from Spain will present the play “Wasted Time” in Shenzhen. A new father is a normal person with a regular schedule. However, his strict schedule changes completely along with his daughter Beibei’s appearance! She needs to be fed, played with, and taken care of. She needs lots of time. The father gets annoyed and asks Beibei not to bother him.

    Fashion exhibition

    “The Future of Fashion Is Now” exhibition aims to introduce trends in the forefront of fashion design through works of both accomplished designers and emerging young designers. It showcases works by 35 designers from 13 countries.

    Iron sculptures

    More than 50 iron sculptures, collages and paper-cuttings created by Ren Rong are on display. Ren incorporates ancient Chinese characters, paper cutting, and shadow puppets in his work.

    Dora adventures to Poly

    Nickelodeon will present its “Dora the Explorer Live! Search for the City of Lost Toys.” In the show, Dora has lost her teddy bear Osito. With the help of the audience, Map, Backpack, Boots, Diego and their courageous friends, Dora uses her map-reading, counting, musical and language skills to successfully pass through the number pyramid and the mixed-up jungle to reach the City of Lost Toys.
