More than 100 works including logo designs and writing by contemporary artist Zhu Weili are on exhibit at Guan Shanyue Art Museum through July 24.
Growing up as a well-trained designer in last century, Zhu has designed many important images, as well as landmark architecture, such as the logo of Beijing Capital International Airport and images at celebrations for key national events.
Most exhibits are realistic works Zhu crafted based on his experience with modern Chinese language springing up in the Internet age, and also includes popular folk art from recent years.
Having received quality training in calligraphy and painting, Zhu has a profound understanding of Chinese culture. His interest in inscriptions and print have brought him further mastery in Chinese characters.
