Free a cappella concert Sunday

    Three a cappella bands, BOOM, 38.6℃ and Resound, will perform a concert at Shenzhen Concert Hall on July 24. Free tickets can be claimed at szyyt.com or Shenzhen Book City’s CBD outlet beside the Shenzhen Concert Hall.

    BOOM, founded in 2013, is an a cappella pioneer in Shenzhen as well as the founding team of the Single Singers A Cappella Club. Its members all majored in music at Shenzhen University. Having given performances nationwide, the band aims to popularize Chinese a cappella culture.

    38.6℃ is the first a cappella band in Shenzhen. All six members graduated from Shenzhen University and have their own distinctive singing styles. Now the band is coaching the Single Singers, an a cappella project of the Shenzhen Concert Hall.

    Resound, consisting of both undergraduates and graduates from Guangzhou, was founded in 2012. The band has won numerous gold medals in a cappella competitions.
