    Drift festival

    More than 80 top domestic and overseas race car drivers will compete at the SMA International Drift Festival. Organized by the Super Moto Association (SMA), this festival aims to be the biggest international drift competition in China. Apart from car racing, you can enjoy wine and food, listen to electronic music and visit the Supercar Exhibition. VR interactive games and children’s car games are also available.

    Ancient porcelain

    Relics provided by Guangdong Museum, Hong Kong Museum of Art and Macao Museum are on display. The 180 exhibits showcase ancient pottery and porcelain and made-for-export porcelain with designs commissioned by European buyers.

    Cartoon festival

    Leading artists in the animation industry and professors from universities will gather at the Shenzhen Cartoon and Animation Festival. Activities include cosplay, VR experience, street dancing, 5-D movie shows and creative bazaars.

    Teatro Plus from Spain will present the play “Wasted Time” in Shenzhen. A new father is a normal person with a regular schedule. However, his strict schedule changes completely along with his daughter Beibei’s appearance! She needs to be fed, played with, and taken care of. She needs lots of time. The father gets annoyed and asks Beibei not to bother him.

    Fashion exhibition

    “The Future of Fashion Is Now” exhibition aims to introduce trends in the forefront of fashion design through works of both accomplished designers and emerging young designers. It showcases works by 35 designers from 13 countries.

    Dessert carnival

    Forty stores will offer more than 100 kinds of desserts at the second annual Dessert Carnival in Coastal City. This year, participants will not only taste various kinds of desserts, but will also experience something special when they witness the entire process of dessert-making.

    Photo exhibition

    Photos of the last remaining Chinese women who underwent the painful foot binding are on display. Shenzhen photographer Qin Junxiao took photos of Chinese women who underwent foot binding in Henan, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Gansu and Yunnan. He had taken photos of 600 women, and the oldest woman in his collection was Liu Shaoyun (1897-2003) in Henan Province.
