THE exit door may have to be left open for Leicester City, as Riyad Mahrez is set to join N’Golo Kante in leaving the Foxes for a move to the capital.
PFA Player of the Year Mahrez was one of the stars of the Foxes fairytale season, which saw them defy the odds to lift the Premier League trophy, and as such has been linked with a big money move away from the King Power Stadium.
Eurosport France reported that Mahrez has decided on a move to Arsenal, with the transfer set to take place imminently.
The Algerian will be the second high profile signing of the summer for Arsene Wenger’s side, after the arrival of Swiss international Granit Xhaka from Borussia Manchengladbach.
Barcelona and Manchester City had been linked with the 25-year-old, but it appears Arsenal has won the race to sign him, making him the second star to leave Leicester. (SD-Agencies)
