Children’s play “Boonie Bears,” presented by Shenzhen Huaqiang Digital Animation Co. Ltd., will be shown July 31.
“Boonie Bears” is based on the popular Chinese cartoon series with the same title. The main characters are a logger, Vick, and two bears in the forest, Briar and Bramble. It generally revolves around Vick’s attempts to log timber and the bears’ attempts to stop him. Another character is a hyper-active squirrel.
The play has many interactive features. During the performance, children will enjoy the familiar scene of the forest on the stage and experience the joy of the story right in front of their eyes.
According to the director, the play not only has the cute characters from the cartoon, but also includes new stories with cheerful dances.
The bear brothers and Vick will act among the audience and play with children.
In the play, the forest Briar and Bramble live in a forest that is facing the threat of being destroyed. Briar and Bramble, guardians of the forest, protect it from Vick’s illegal exploitation yet again. By coincidence, Vick comes across a mysterious scientist who is looking for the “Colorful Throne,” which is said to possess the power to fulfill every single wish of its owner.
