Botanical paintings on display

    Botanical illustration has been a popular art form for centuries, with its appealing traditions of detail and beauty.

    Thirty-six paintings created by three artists (Yu Feng, Yu Hanping and Deng Yingfeng) from Southern China Botanical Garden, Guangzhou, are on display in Shenzhen. Subjects include exotic and common plants, flowers, fruit and vegetables. This is an inspiring and visual treat.

    Dates: Until July 31

    Open: 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

    Venue: Fairy Lake Botanical Garden, 160 Xianhu Road, Luohu District (罗湖区仙湖路160号仙湖植物园)

    Metro: Shekou or Huanzhong Line, Huangbeiling Station(黄贝岭站), Exit C and then take a taxi(Cao Zhen)
