DreamWorks’ hit animated movie comes to wild life in the fun new family musical “Madagascar Live!”

    The 90-minute theater show is based on the “Madagascar” film. Produced by DreamWorks Theatricals and Broadway Across America, the musical is directed by Gip Hoppe. The tour of “Madagascar Live!” started in January 2011 in the United States and then the United Kingdom in 2013. This is DreamWorks Animation’s second stage production after “Shrek the Musical.”

    This original stage spectacular follows everybody’s favorite zoo refugees Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo, along with their intrepid pals — the penguins, from the concrete jungle of New York to the wilds of Africa, and features singing, dancing and plenty of on-stage adventure for the entire family.

    This celebration of friendship is brought vividly to life by imaginative sets and costumes, action-packed adventure and spectacular new songs that will inspire you to move it in the aisles.
