The artist Xu Ying, from Tianjin, is holding an exhibition at Shenzhen Bao’an Library.
Xu Ying, who graduated from the department of traditional Chinese painting at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, has developed a solid foundation for painting. She paints in various styles and enjoys fame all over the world.
Some of her paintings reference works of art from European countries, especially Italy. Her paintings have distinct features which impress the public, such as the young Chinese women in her paintings who are protagonists in a narrative which connects the past with the present and the future.
