Fuyong crab food festival
    2016-August-8  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

The first Fuyong Oil Crab Food Culture Festival is being held in Fuyong Seafood Dock Market this month.

The market is near Bao’an Boulevard and faces Dongguan and Zhongshan across the sea. Its geographical benefit provides abundant delicious seafood. Among the marine products, the oil crab is the most famous.

An oil crab is also called a female green crab. When it is stimulated by the high water temperature, it will release golden oil, which permeates its organs. Since it is filled with oil and has golden crab meat, it’s well-known as the oil crab.

Fuyong’s oil crab has been called the best one in the world. In order to let more people appreciate its delicacy, this festival provides visitors with a chance to sample fresh crab meat. Besides the main venue, Fuyong Seafood Dock Market, three branch venues — Yujiazhuang Yushuiwei Seafood Street, Huaide Seafood Street and Qiaotou Seafood Street — enable visitors to have a taste of Fuyong’s seafood culture and society.

    Time: Until Aug. 9

Venue: Fuyong Seafood Dock Market, Bao’an Boulevard, Bao’an District (宝安区宝安大道福永海鲜码头市场)

Metro: Line 11, Fuyong Station (福永站), Exit B and then take a taxi(Yu Jinhang)
