    Of Montreal

    American rock band Of Montreal will perform at B10 Live. From Athens, Georgia, Of Montreal was founded by frontman Kevin Barnes in 1996, named after a failed romance between Barnes and a woman “of Montreal.” The band’s musical style has evolved considerably and drawn inspiration from numerous 1960s psychedelic pop acts.

    A Heart for China, a local charity organization, will throw a party Friday night at Foam Heaven in Coco Park. It is a social event with Belgian beers and cake. Come and say hello to the volunteers of A Heart for China.

    On Saturday, a charity event will be held at the Renda Benevolence Nursing Home (任达爱心护理院) in Bao’an District for the elderly. Come join the event and meet at Baishilong Metro Station Exit C at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 13.

    On Sunday, the volunteers will head to Huayang Rehabilitation Center for Autistic and Disabled Children (华阳特殊儿童康复中心). You are invited to join the event. There will be a live band, dancing, games and cake. Meet at Baishilong Metro Station Exit C at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 14.

    Van Gogh

    A multimedia display of Van Gogh’s work, letters and the environment he lived in is being held at the “Van Gogh Age: Impressionism Exhibition.” The exhibition features 35 huge screens displaying 3,000 pieces of paintings and photos. The exhibit aims to offer visitors a multi-sensory way to enjoy art.

    Ancient porcelain

    Louvre replica
