Adele nixes 2017 Super Bowl halftime show rumors
    2016-August-16  08:53    Shenzhen Daily

BRITISH songstress Adele has nixed rumors that she will be performing during the 2017 Super Bowl halftime show.

During her concert in Los Angeles over the weekend, Adele told disappointed fans that she had been approached for the gig but eventually declined.

The singer said the show is “not about music” and joked that she would consider it if she had a dance album under her belt.

Rumors started swirling recently after a source from the National Football League reportedly told media outlets that organizers of next year’s Super Bowl are chasing after Adele for the halftime show, one of the highest rated TV segments in the United States.

The 10-time Grammy winner released her massive hit “Hello” last October. She is currently on tour to support her third album titled “25.” (SD-Agencies)
