CHINESE actress Tang Wei gave birth to a baby girl Thursday in Hong Kong.
“Hello, everyone, I ‘unloaded my cargo’ (gave birth) the day before yesterday in Hong Kong,” the actress announced on her WeChat Moments on Saturday. “She’s 3.41 kg and very healthy, because she’s the loudest in the whole ward!”
Tang, who will turn 37 this October, rose to stardom for her performance in Ang Lee’s “Lust, Caution” (2007). She starred in “Late Autumn” (2010), when she met her future husband Kim Tae-yong who directed the film. The two married in August 2014. Her 2013 rom-com “Finding Mr. Right” was a box office hit.
Statement
AHEAD of the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, where Rihanna will be honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, Drake bought a large billboard in Los Angeles to congratulate the diva. “Congratulations to Rihanna from Drake and Everyone at OVO,” the billboard read.
The gesture didn’t go unnoticed by Rihanna. “When he extra!!!” she captioned an Instagram photo of the large sign, along with a heart and trophy emojis. Rumors have been swirling that the two are secretly dating.
