HAVING been benched for the first three games of the season for Chelsea, Cesc Fabregas could depart for Serie A before the transfer window closes.

    A deal could be discussed with Inter as those clubs also prepare to hold talks over midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, who faces an equally uncertain future in Milan himself.

    The Spaniard, who has made over 100 appearances for his country, is the type of player who could be a big asset to Inter at their current stage of reconstruction and a deal could be discussed by the clubs over the coming day.
